How You Can Help
Thank you for considering supporting the John Howard Society of Sault Ste. Marie. Your generosity will benefit many youth and adults who face barriers to living a healthy lifestyle, succeeding in school, maintaining housing and/or finding employment.
You can help by volunteering, donating, becoming a member of JHS for just $10 (includes voting privileges at our annual meeting) and/or applying to become a board member.
Although we have financial support from many levels of government and the United Way, many of our services are dependent on fundraising to ensure everyone is able to benefit rather than only those who fit within the target groups of our funders.
We are a non-profit, incorporated agency therefore will provide you with a tax receipt for your income tax. This means we both benefit, along with the many people in the community who need the extra support to become productive members of our society.
